Many people want to know how they can contribute to help restore the Corner Block Building. THANK YOU for your generous spirit! As everyone knows, this is going to be a very costly project well beyond the means of most people (including us)! While we are seeking grant opportunities, we also know it's going to take a lot of community support to bring the Corner Block back. Because we are not a not-for-profit (lots of reasons why we didn't go that route, mostly concerning TIF and other business funding opportunities that are not available for NFP's), we want to make sure we adhere to all the income/sales tax rules, as well as be transparent with those who contribute that any gift to Corner Block Group, LLC is not tax deductible.
We have multiple ways you can contribute. Those include:
1. Visit our Square online “store” to contribute. https://corner-block.square.site/product/donate/1
2. Send a contribution via Venmo. Our Venmo account username is @cornerblock. You can send money for any amount you wish to contribute.
3. Mail a check to Corner Block Group, LLC, 278 Clear Springs Ln, Hillsboro, 62049.
4. Make "in-kind" donations, such as provide supplies or services we will need as we work on the building. These might include such things as allowing use of equipment, tools, materials, professional services, building trade services, garbage removal, etc. Contact us if you would like to offer an in-kind donation.
5. We are also working on merchandise people can purchase to show their support and contribute.
We know that handing other people's money requires a lot of trust, and we will make sure your gifts are used wisely and honestly.
